Black Twinberry is a deciduous, woody shrub, growing to 3m tall in the interior of BC.  Yellow trumpet-like flowers emerge as pairs leading to the production of twinned black berries.  Black twinberry like to grow in rich, loamy, moist soils, enjoying the sun to part shade.
